Lower Back Pain HQ

Lower back pain, also often referred to as Lumbago, affects a great number of people at various times in their life.  In fact, in the United States, it is said to be the most common reason for employee absenteeism.

Because it can be so difficult to prove that you have lower back pain, many employers and work colleagues – who are fortunate enough not to suffer from back pain – may think that it’s a convenient excuse for a few days off work.  As I – and I’m sure anyone who has experienced severe lower back pain – can confirm, given the choice of being at work or having the pain, work gets my vote every time!

Back pain is no laughing matter, and as I have suffered with it myself on numerous occasions, I feel qualified to make such a statement.  The strange thing about lower back pain is the way it can creep up on you when you’re least expecting it, and then pounce and render you helpless before you know it.  And then, as quickly as it came, it can completely disappear, leaving you with nothing but a few sore muscles to remind you that it was ever there in the first place.

Anyhow, the purpose of the site is to provide visitors with helpful, and practical, information on a wide range of lower back pain topics.  If you suffer with back pain, as so many people do, then I hope you’ll find something here to help you.  It’s constantly being updated with new content, so check back often.
